The year is 2978, Earth has long been abandoned, and the company Innova controls the galaxy. When forced to retrieve a secret item from a cargo ship for zer gang, colony worker Zeran runs into a Neo-Earth girl Andromeda Ly and former Innova employee Idris Abbas-Sadek, who informs them of a dangerous new ai controlling Innova. Together they must reveal the injustices of the company and create a better society for humankind.

Originally guarding Novi as they were transported to colony 12, Ellis Bao (he/they) and Freddie Medina (he/him) are the officers sent to track down the MCs
Jona Bourne (he/him)
Mr. Bourne is the CEO of innova. He is charasmatic and well liked, not because he is a good person, but mainly because he controls the media.
Andromeda Ly (she/her)
Andy is a middle class girl from Neo-Earth who has wanted to explore space since she was a child. Unfortunately space travel is typically reserved for rich people and certain jobs. She just graduated, but higher education is controlled by innova and very expensive, so she finds an opportunity to work on an innova cargo ship and takes it. She isn't paid well and the employees are treated the same as the robots, but she's happy to be off-planet.
Strengths:
Andy is hardworking and good at problem solving. She is also very moral and cares a lot about the wellbeing of people.
Weaknesses:
Andy worries about failing and needs others approval. She is afraid of breaking the rules even if she doesnt necesarily agree with them.
Motivation:
She wants to make the people around her proud. She also knows society isn't as good as it could be and wants to help fix it.
Zeran (ze/zer)
Zeran was a creative scientist and apprentice teacher on innova research colony 12: One that develops Ai. Ze, along with the other members of that ship, and all other innova colonies, were genetically engineered to be best fit for their environment. Their environment being indoors in space, they are tall, pale, and dont need as much oxygen or food as an average human. Zeran struggled with “productivity” in the colony due to ADHD (something unheard of in GE workers) and joined a gang of others with “genetic defects”. When unable to pay back the gang leader Mars, Ze is forced to enter a cargo ship (that has landed on the colony space station to deliver goods) to steal a highly secure box to return it to the gang. Though it doesn’t exactly go as planned...
Strengths:
Zeran is very confident and fun to be around. Skilled in the art of stealing lol. Also has knowledge about ai from zer colony and genetically engineered to retain knowledge more effectively
Weaknesses:
Ze is naive to the outside world and also pretty selfish. Ze isn't very loyal to a cause or even zer friends and would leave if a better opportunity arose.. but it’s mostly because ze doesn’t believe anyone actually cares about zer.
Motivation:
At first, ze just wants to have a good time, then after learning everything ze was taught was wrong, ze wants the truth.
Idris Abbas-Sadek (he/him)
Idris was basically raised by innovas ceo. His mother worked at innova HQ and Idris would come with her, and was pretty much brainwashed by the company. When he was a preteen his mother had a disagreement with the company involving its absolute power and facist ways, and tried to sabatoge them. She was caught and arrested in front of Idris and he never saw her again. At that point Idris, (being brainwashed) thought that his mother was a traitor. So he was taken in by the ceo as an important member of the company. But then he too found out how corrupt they were when it was decided to remove the humanity from their ai system, so it would let nothing get in the way of production. He left immediately and joined a group of socialists lol.
Strengths:
Idris is a good leader, and is also like a father figure to the team. He will do whatever it takes to reach justice. And he knows a bunch of company secets from working there.
Weaknesses:
He is afraid of being on the wrong side. He also questions himself a lot and can be easy to manipulate.
Motivation:
He wants to redeem himself and make the world see the problem with unchecked capitalism.
Novi/“Computer” (they/it)
Originally converged with the central innova ai system, Novi was the “humanity” part of the ai, programmed to have feelings, sympathy, and etc to keep the company from breaking any interspace laws.. though innova was able to change these laws, having power over the government, and removed “Novi.” To destroy it completely would be impossible since it’s quantum entangled with the other ai so they shut it down and uploaded it to a cube thing and planned to send it to an uninhabited planet, until the main characters stole it of course. Novi’s memory has been wiped and it has to redevelop a personality but still holds important information about the company. Also since it’s reactivated it has the potential to connect to the main Innova network. They are first only known as “computer,” but as they develop into a main character they get their name “Novi”.
